Dissolve: The Soft Power of Returning to Who You Truly Are

Jul 02, 2025
Of loosening the grip on what we were never meant to carry. Of washing away the residue of old identities so something more true can shine through.

Lately, one word keeps finding me.

It’s in the books I pick up.
In conversations.
In meditations.
Like a quiet whisper on repeat:

Dissolve.

I’ve heard it no less than a dozen times over the last two days, as if the universe is drawing a circle around something I’ve been too busy to see.

And when I finally stopped to listen, this mantra surfaced like a lifeline:

🌟 I dissolve what I was taught to be and I return to what I truly am. 🌟   (Thank you to @mymetaphysicalmaven for the inspo & synchro!)

Suddenly, the pressure eased. I stopped trying to transform and started letting myself return.

We Think Transformation Requires Force

We’re taught that growth is something we have to hustle toward.
That evolution means effort, and change must be earned through struggle.

But this word—dissolve—says otherwise.

It speaks of melting, releasing, softening.
Of loosening the grip on what we were never meant to carry.
Of washing away the residue of old identities so something more true can shine through.

To dissolve is not to be destroyed—it’s to become clear.

What If You Don’t Have to “Become” at All?

What if transformation isn’t about becoming something new, but shedding what isn’t you?
A deconstruction, not of the self, but of the stories layered on top of it.

Words like:

  • Melt

  • Release

  • Undo

  • Disband

  • Dismantle

  • Shed

They hold a different kind of power.
A sacred unraveling.
A way of returning—not with struggle, but with surrender.

A Different Kind of Alchemy

I think we often confuse intensity with truth.
But sometimes, the most powerful shift isn’t loud—it’s invisible.

Like a knot in the belly finally releasing.
Like tension draining from the shoulders.
Like permission arriving in the form of a single phrase:

🌟 I dissolve what I was taught to be.
🌟 I return to what I truly am.

Say it slowly. Let it ripple.

Feel how it doesn’t demand action.
It invites trust.

A Soft Practice to Come Home to Yourself

Close your eyes.
Place your hand on your heart.
Breathe deeply.

Ask yourself:

What feels rigid in me right now?
What could soften if I let it?
What am I clinging to that no longer feels alive?

Then, as you exhale, visualize that energy loosening, lifting, melting.

This is how the return begins.
Not with a grand gesture—
But with quiet willingness to let go.

This Is the New Way

Not force.
Not performance.
Not more doing.

But an inner unravelling. A quiet return.
A sacred dissolving of who the world told you to be, so your true self can re-emerge.

You don’t have to work harder to heal.
You don’t have to fight yourself into worthiness.

You can melt back into your truth.

And that?
That’s a revolution.

Try This

Mantra: I dissolve what I was taught to be. I return to what I truly am.

Journal Prompts:

  • Where do I feel hardened, rigid, or over-identified with an old role?

  • What fears come up when I imagine dissolving that role?

  • What would it feel like to live in softness, in trust?

πŸ•― Ritual: Light a candle. Imagine its heat gently melting away anything that no longer fits. Not in rupture—but in warmth. In devotion. In truth.

Let this be your season of un-becoming.
Of dissolving what was never truly yours.
Of coming home with ease.

Let it be enough.

How Did I Get Here? The Map You Were Never Given

Nobody taught you how to trust yourself. How to know what you want. How to say it. How to stop shrinking to fit spaces that were never built for you. That's not a personal failing. That's a gap β€” and it was never an accident. This free four-module course is where that gap finally closes. You'll start to see the patterns that have been running your life, understand why you keep arriving at the same place, and learn what it feels like to finally respond from the woman you actually are β€” instead of reacting from old wounds. No jargon. Just honest tools for the woman who was never given this.

Break The Trauma Bond Before It Breaks You | April - May Cohort

A 4-week cohort for women who understand exactly why they should leave β€” and still can't. You know the pattern. You've named it. You've ended it more times than you can count. And something keeps pulling you back. You don't need to understand him better. You need to understand what your nervous system learned to call love. This is where that changes. Not because you're weak. Because your nervous system learned that this is what love feels like. This cohort is where that changes. 18 modules built around your nervous system β€” not your willpower. Four live calls Mondays 6–7:30 PM MST. A small room of women doing the same honest work. Four weeks. That's it. Let's go.

Rewire & Rise: Rewire the Story. Rebuild Your Life.

Most courses teach you what to do differently. This one rewires why you do what you do in the first place. Because the stories running your life? You didn't write them. They were written for you β€” by systems, by roles, by a world that needed you manageable. This is the journey from self-sacrifice to sovereignty. One module at a time. At your own pace. On your own terms. Using REBT psychology, somatic awareness, and real-life tools you'll actually use β€” Rewire & Rise goes straight to the root of the patterns, beliefs, and stories that have been running your life. 34 modules. Every tool you need. Close the embodiment gap β€” the space between knowing and actually living differently. Because you've already done enough knowing. It's time to actually feel different. Move different. Choose different. Not because you finally tried hard enough. Because you finally changed the story at the root.
