đź’Ś Love Letters | Issue 11: The Love You Carry Within

Hi Beautiful,
Love doesn’t begin with someone else’s recognition. It begins with the way you see yourself, the way you speak to yourself, and the light you allow yourself to carry.
So often, we’ve been taught to measure love by what others give us—the text, the call, the invitation, the reassurance. And yet, those reflections are only ever mirrors. If we abandon ourselves, the mirror shows us absence. If we pour into ourselves, the mirror begins to shimmer with warmth.
When I talk about carrying light, I don’t mean perfection, or constant joy. Your light isn’t about never struggling—it’s about remembering that your worth is not on trial. It’s the quiet glow that comes from choosing yourself, even when it feels easier to dim down.
Love, in its truest form, is not about chasing proof. It’s about cultivating an inner home so steady, so kind, so rooted—that anyone invited in can feel the radiance you’ve already claimed.
Take a breath here. The love you long for is not out there somewhere—it begins in the way you love yourself today.
✨ This week’s practice:
Notice the moments you abandon yourself—when you silence your truth, override your body, or minimize your needs. Each time, pause. Offer yourself even a small act of love instead. See how your light shifts.
🖊️ Journaling Prompts:
-
Where do I look for love outside of myself that I could begin offering within?
-
How do I know when I’m carrying my light—what does it feel like in my body?
-
What parts of me still wait for permission to shine?
-
If my relationships are mirrors, what reflection am I ready to see change?
So this is a love letter to the part of you learning that your love for yourself is not selfish—it is sacred. She is beginning to see her own reflection with tenderness. She is remembering that her light is not fragile, but fierce. And she is worthy of relationships that mirror back the love she has already claimed within.
