💌 Love Letters | Issue 7: You Don’t Need to Get It Right — Just Begin Again

Hey love,
Here’s a truth that so many of us forget:
You don’t have to get it right the first time.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to change a pattern perfectly on the first try.
What matters most is that you begin again.
🌸 The Practice: Simply Begin Again
Maybe last week you spoke your truth and it didn’t land like you hoped.
Maybe you set a boundary and found yourself slipping back into old habits.
Maybe you told yourself you’d show up differently — but then you didn’t.
That’s okay. This is how growth happens.
It’s messy. It’s imperfect. It’s confusing.
And it’s also brave.
To begin again means:
-
Saying “I’m not done yet,” even if you’re tired.
-
Turning toward yourself with kindness after a slip.
-
Taking one more step, even when the path isn’t clear.
-
Holding space for the parts of you that resist, doubt, or fear.
🌿 Reflection Questions:
-
What pattern am I noticing that didn’t change this time — and what feelings come up for me?
-
How can I be gentle with myself as I begin again?
-
What does “beginning again” feel like in my body right now?
-
What small, kind action can I take today to move forward — no matter how imperfect?
đź’– Your Love Letter for Today:
This is a love letter to the parts of you that feel frustrated or discouraged by the “not getting it right.”
To the parts that want to give up because progress isn’t linear.
I see you.
I honor you.
And I promise: every time you choose to begin again, you’re healing the gap between who you are and who you’re becoming.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be willing to keep trying.
With love,
Em
P.S. If you feel called, reply and tell me what you’re beginning again this week. I’d love to celebrate your courage.
